So who am I and what can you expect from working with me? I’m Kate and I am an Anxiety Coach with a certification in NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming – it is all about how our brain and thoughts work). I myself had a panic disorder from the age of 10 and going from a happy go-lucky kid to one who was scared of everything really did a number on me and my family. So firstly, I get it and understand the crippling fear you can feel when your world becomes a dark place to live. Secondly, I have been on the receiving end of therapy (psychologists, psychiatrists and counsellors) and I know the therapeutic powers of talking things through with an unbiased individual who holds no judgement. I also know that talking it through is only part of the process; that you also need tools to help you change those deeply embedded beliefs which lead to anxiety in the first place. I have been through the journey myself so I know firsthand the techniques which are most successful and how sometimes, the smaller shifts we make have the biggest impacts.
Through working with me, you will become more self-reflective, more self-aware and be able to make those all important shifts so that you can live your best life.
